Rice field + Albufera Lagoon + wildlife reserve

This route begins in the last section of the Saler canal, in the beautiful landscape of the "Tancat del Pomero" rice fields and at its near exit to the lake we will pass by the Gola del Pujol, where we will explain the functions of this canal and its gates that communicate the lake of l'Albufera and the Mediterranean Sea. The route presents wonderful open views of the lake of l'Albufera, and on the other shores of the lake you can even see the towns of Cullera, Sollana, Silla, Catarroja and even Valencia. We will surround the "Mata del Fang", an island located in the eastern part of the lake that is catalogued as an Integral Reserve of Fauna and Flora. The reeds, bulrushes, mangroves and other plants will brush our boat as we see a large number of birds such as herons, ducks, moritos, calamons, cormorants, seagulls ... that rest in this protected habitat.
